PROFILE

Madelyn is a true force in both her high school and her community.  No Briarcliff High School theater production, dance performance or assembly could have been possible without her skill and leadership as Student Technical Director.  Although her work is behind-the scenes rather than in the spot light, to every dancer, cast member and crew-mate, she is the go-to for all technical questions and is recognized as the cornerstone of her high school’s technical crew. Madelyn is also an active member of the National Honors Society, National Art Honor Society and uses her artistic skills to bring sets and prop pieces to life on stage. She has proven herself to be an asset to the community, even going as far as helping to produce most of the high school assemblies and concerts, middle school musicals, serving as the community pool lifeguard, and volunteering as a camp counselor. Madelyn remains to be a full-time member of the Girls Varsity Swim Team, the Girl Scouts and an advocate for Women’s rights.
